You do not need a backyard or gardening experience. Start small, learn one step at a time, and build food confidence.

Many of us buy fresh food without knowing exactly where it was grown, how it was grown, or how far it traveled before reaching the store. Soil-less indoor gardening offers a practical way to grow some of your own fresh food right where you are.

Meet Sharon Leigh Gaither

I am a retired U.S. Army veteran, Soil-Less Indoor Garden Consultant & Coach, Founder of Sustainable Gardens 365 Movement, and creator of the Seed-2-Plate™ Method.

My journey into indoor growing began with personal health concerns and questions about food quality and recalls. My mission became even clearer after I saw a news report showing soldiers in uniform relying on a food pantry near a large military installation. As a retired U.S. Army veteran, that report deeply affected me and reinforced my commitment to helping military families, veterans, and communities explore practical ways to grow some of their own fresh food.

SG365M is not a hobby or trend. It is an educational initiative created to help individuals, military and veteran families, and communities build food confidence by learning how to grow fresh food indoors regardless of their space, location or previous gardening experience.

Through hands-on experience with mason jar hydroponics, countertop smart gardens, hydroponic grow pails and vertical growing systems, I help beginners find a practical growing solution that fits their lifestyle, budget and goals.

The Seed-2-Plate™ Method guides growers through five practical stages: Seed, Start, Grow, Harvest and Plate connecting the growing experience with fresh food, nutrition and wellness.

I am continuing my education in nutrition, wellness, and aromatherapy, expanding the knowledge I bring to SG365M while remaining transparent that these certification studies are still in progress.
