This past weekend, I attended Women Veterans Engage at the Kansas host location, hosted by Ft. Leavenworth VFW Post #56. From Friday evening crafting to Saturday’s keynote, assessment, conversations, and concert, the weekend was a powerful reminder that women veterans desire and need meaningful spaces to connect, be seen, and build community together.
